Stormwater management regulations meant that St. John's College High School needed to find a low impact development solution when it started construction of its new cafeteria and library.
Ernest Maier's Site Solutions Division presented PaveDrain as the solution to Landesign of Bowie, Maryland. Landesign employed PaveDrain not only to infilrate direct rainfall on the 8,000 square feet of service road comprised of the PaveDrain blocks but also to infiltrate the rainfall from 16,500 square feet of roof and patio adjacent to this service road.
To understand the PaveDrain difference to the combined sewer system of Washington and the nearby Rock Creek, Ernest Maier will update the amount of rainfall infiltrated by this creative design since its completion on August 13, 2012.
